•  Student accounts under 13 (or the applicable age in your region) may only be created and managed by a teacher or school under a valid school subscription or with verified parental consent in compliance with COPPA and applicable privacy laws.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use ForgeLesson only for lawful, educational purposes. You agree not to:

•  Generate or distribute content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal.

•  Infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

•  Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Platform.

•  Use the AI to create content that violates school policies or applicable law.

4. User Content & Ownership

•  You retain ownership of lesson plans, quizzes, and other materials you create (“User Content”).

•  By uploading or generating content, you grant ForgeLesson a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, modify (for formatting), and distribute it solely to provide the Service.

•  You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or laws.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI is provided “as-is.” You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance of all AI-generated lesson plans, tests, and materials before using them with students.

6. Privacy & Student Data

We comply with FERPA, COPPA, GDPR (where applicable), and other relevant privacy laws. Our Privacy Policy (available at forgelesson.com/privacy) explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including student data.

7. Subscriptions & Payment

•  Free tier: Limited features and usage quotas.

•  Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually. No refunds except where required by law.

•  Schools and districts may enter separate enterprise agreements.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORGELESSON WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

11. Governing Law
